We are excited to share some of our biggest news yet. After receiving countless messages and requests from learners around the world, LanGeek is officially expanding beyond English. German, Spanish, and French are now available on the LanGeek website and dictionary.
This update marks a major milestone for our team. From the beginning, our mission has been to make language learning more understandable, structured, and motivating. For years, we focused on building the most complete English learning platform we could, refining vocabulary systems, grammar explanations, pronunciation tools, reading practice, and review methods.
That foundation is exactly what makes today possible. Everything we learned while building LanGeek for English has shaped how we approach our new languages, and we are thrilled to finally open this next chapter.
A First Look: What’s Available Right Now
The launch of German, Spanish, and French is currently exclusive to the LanGeek website. The app version is coming soon, but we wanted to give our learners early access through the web while we continue refining everything behind the scenes.
This release is a beta version, which means you will notice that the content and features are limited for now. But even at this early stage, there is already a lot to explore.
Here’s what you can use today
-
CEFR vocabulary for German, Spanish, and French up to level B2
Learners can now browse vocabulary categories that follow the CEFR levels from A1 to B2. These cover everyday topics, essential verbs, common phrases, and important words for building a strong foundation. -
Intermediate grammar topics for Spanish
Spanish learners can also access a selection of intermediate grammar lessons, designed to explain core concepts clearly and practically. These topics will continue expanding over time.
At the moment, all vocabulary in the new languages is paired with English translations. This helps keep learning simple and accessible in the early stages. Over time, we will add additional localization options so learners can study through their own native language as well.

What’s Coming Next: The Expansion Plan
We have a lot planned for German, Spanish, and French, and this is only the beginning. While we are not sharing timelines, here is what you can expect as we continue building.
Grammar Lessons for All Three Languages
We are currently preparing full grammar lessons for German, Spanish, and French. Just like our English grammar library, these will include clear explanations, examples, visuals, and simple breakdowns that help you understand how each language works.
Topical Vocabulary
Alongside CEFR vocabulary, we will introduce topical vocabulary that covers everyday themes like travel, health, hobbies, business, shopping, food, and more. These categories help learners build the vocabulary they need for real-life situations.
Pronunciation Sections
Pronunciation can be one of the hardest parts of learning a new language. That is why we are developing pronunciation sections for all three languages. These will explain how sounds work, how to recognize tricky patterns, and how to improve accuracy.
Most Common Words
We also plan to add lists of the most frequently used words in each language. These lists help learners focus on vocabulary that appears often in conversation, reading, and real-life interaction.
Test Preparation Vocabulary
Every language has its own set of standardized exams. We will introduce vocabulary lists designed specifically for German, Spanish, and French proficiency tests so learners can prepare more effectively for official assessments.
All of these features are currently in development. As each one becomes ready, we will release it directly on the website first and later bring it to the app.

Built on a Strong Foundation
LanGeek’s expansion into new languages is built on everything we learned while developing our English learning system. Over the years, we shaped our platform around clarity, structure, and active learning. This includes:
-
Clean and organized vocabulary categories
-
Detailed grammar explanations
-
A growing collection of reading passages
-
Interactive pronunciation tools
-
An adaptive review system
-
Smart examples and clear definitions
The same philosophy is guiding our approach with German, Spanish, and French. We want learning to feel simple, meaningful, and reliable, no matter which language you choose.
Although today’s launch is just a beta version, it represents the beginning of a much larger transformation. In the months ahead, the languages will expand rapidly with more content, more structure, and more features designed around learner needs.
