A fantastic tool for memorizing vocabulary.

The only positive point is that the app includes textbooks for all levels and exam preparation. I bought a subscription mainly for offline mode and to study new words with all the lesson activities, not just the learning section. It turned out that offline mode only gives permission to download lessons, and you have to figure out which lesson belongs to which textbook yourself. There is also a ‘My Lists’ section, which I expected to use for words I found elsewhere, but half of those words are missing from the dictionary and many of the available translations are inaccurate. When learning new words without hands-free mode, tapping the pronunciation button opens the transcription and plays only one syllable. Then, when the next word appears, the app suddenly starts repeating the previous word over and over. This was the most pointless way I have spent $25.

I used it to prepare for my IELTS test, and it was great.

I love it, but the only problem is that when I compare it with my textbook, some multiword terms are separated. For example, ‘undersea cables’ is split into two parts, so the app does not provide the exact meaning. Otherwise, it is amazing. Thank you 😊💕

Could you add an option to show our Leitner flashcards in our own language first and reveal the English translation after tapping the card? At the moment, English appears first and the translation is on the back. I love this app.

After using the app for some time, I noticed a few limitations. Pronunciation playback sometimes has problems, and there are occasional spelling errors. For compound words such as ‘good-looking’ or ‘well-done,’ the spelling exercise does not allow me to enter the hyphen, which is very frustrating. I hope the app improves these issues.

The only thing missing is more practical speaking and pronunciation feedback in sections such as pronunciation and grammar, rather than only article-style explanations. For example, it could ask me to repeat letter sounds and then identify my mistakes, or include spoken grammar exercises. With that, I would rate it 10 out of 10. Hello! I have just updated the app. The new version is genuinely interesting and contains a lot of useful information. I would like clarification about the rating system: it is not clear what A, A-, and B mean. It would be easier to understand if scores were shown numerically, such as 100% for 5+ and 90% for 5-. The participant leaderboard is also unclear when it shows values such as 21h or 19h. It would be better to show something like ‘Egor, 14th place, 40 points.’

I bought Premium to immerse myself fully in learning English. I opened the grammar section, but none of the intermediate-to-advanced grammar lessons would open. Only the beginner lessons work. I do not need those because I am no longer a beginner.

A very nice app. It helps you remember words with images. It is one of the few apps that still lets you do a lot in the free version, which makes it easier to decide whether to purchase. Many other apps ask you to pay after only a minute. Well done, and thank you for your effort in creating such a useful app.

I also like that vocabulary is divided into English levels from A1 to C2, which helps learners progress step by step and fully master the vocabulary at each level. I like the app and its many textbooks used in colleges, as well as its reading stories. However, I have not seen meaningful improvements over the past year. I requested an option to reverse Leitner cards so the translation can appear first, and I also asked for Q: Skills books to be added, but neither request has been implemented.

It seems like a very good app with a huge amount of content, but it needs improvement. Progress is not saved, and sometimes the website does not synchronize with the app. That is unfortunate because the content is genuinely very well organized.

Every word is placed in a category, making it easy to prioritize the themes you want to learn first.

The translations and examples are good, but IPA should be added for all vocabulary.

It is my favourite app for learning vocabulary. Using it on a daily basis. But last month it’s a disaster to use it. Just impossible to use, always with application-throws and problems… same with website from smartphone. Please, fix it! I need it.

It is a fairly good app, but it has many problems. The dictionary is often slow, and the mobile app sometimes loses its connection to the server. For example, I review many words in the Leitner system, leave the section, and then discover that the connection was lost and I must review them all again. I wish the Leitner system also worked offline.

However, the excellent dictionary is not available offline. It would be great if it worked without a connection. Some phonetics articles also fail to load. One issue: in the flashcard mode, the correct/incorrect buttons often don’t respond the first time. Suggestion: it would be great to add a mode that shuffles the word order inside the section. With the same order, you memorize the sequence instead of the meaning.
